NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, the Planning Commission of the City Empire has scheduled a public hearing, beginning at 8:00 p.m., on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at the Empire City Hall, 3385–197th Street, Farmington, MN.

HEARING #1. The purpose of this hearing is to consider issuing an Interim Use Permit to McNamara Contracting to allow the continuation of the current road construction business on approximately 141 acres of property owned by Empire Sand and Gravel and Shamrock Land Holding, located north of 170th Street, west and east of Chippendale Avenue and south of 160th Street West in the W ½ of Section 5, and the E ½ of Section 6, Township 114 North, Range 19 West, Dakota County, Minnesota.

All interested parties are urged to attend these hearings or submit written comment to be read at the hearings.
